PSG De Rank

PSG De Rank is located in the De Rank child centre at Floralaan 3 in Roden. We provide care for up to 16 toddlers in a cosy, child-friendly group space that is set up with various play-and-learn corners. The room opens directly onto a secure, enclosed outdoor area where children can explore and play to their heart’s content. Our pedagogical approach is based on the VE programme Piramide. Through this programme we work thematically and playfully on every area of your child’s development. We offer a rich learning environment in which language, numeracy, motor skills and social abilities are stimulated in a natural way. Every activity is carefully matched to the world as toddlers experience it and connects with what is on their minds at that moment. The group is horizontally arranged: all children are between 2 and 4 years old. This allows us to tailor activities perfectly to the age and developmental level of the toddlers. There is plenty of room for creative expression such as drawing, crafting and singing. We also deliberately focus on language development by reading aloud, singing and talking with the children. Our outdoor space invites natural discovery. Children can build sandcastles, investigate water or simply run and climb. We believe it is important that children move every day and can smell and feel the outdoors. In short, at PSG De Rank toddlers are given the space to develop at their own pace in a safe, familiar environment.
