Welcome to KDV Profietstraat in the heart of Ootmarsum! We are proud to be part of Smallsteps and offer a warm, safe place for up to 62 children aged 0-4. Our daycare is located at Profietstraat 6, in the same building as the consultation office and primary school Meander, allowing your child to seamlessly transition to elementary school later. With us, fun and development are central. Our pedagogical staff create a homely atmosphere where your child feels safe and secure. We work with horizontal groups, so babies, toddlers and preschoolers have separate spaces that perfectly match their developmental stage. Babies sleep in quiet bedrooms, while toddlers play in bright, spacious rooms full of challenging toys. Outside, your child has access to a private garden with sandbox, playground equipment and vegetable garden. Here children learn about nature through play and can romp around to their heart's content. We pay a lot of attention to outdoor activities, because outdoor play stimulates motor development and is just great fun! Creativity is highly valued. From claying to painting, from singing to dancing – we offer various activities that connect with the world of experience of young children. We work with VVE (preschool education), where we teach language, math and social skills through play. This forms perfect preparation for elementary school. Through our Smallsteps app, we keep you daily informed of your child's development. Every milestone, every smile – you follow it all on your phone. We believe it's important that you stay involved in your child's upbringing, even during daycare hours.
