POV 't Berneplakje

POV 't Berneplakje is a private franchise location of Kinderwoud, located at Buorsterwyk 38 in Lippenhuizen. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and rich play-and-learn environment. Our location has capacity for a maximum of 16 children and has been officially registered since March 5, 2018. Play-based learning is central to our approach. We work with pre-school education (VE) to stimulate the broad development of toddlers. This program is available for all toddlers in the group, including children who need extra support or are looking for additional challenges. Our qualified pedagogical staff carefully compose the toddler activities and align them with the children's world of experience. We take pride in our multilingual approach. At It Berneplakje, we speak both Dutch and Frisian to playfully stimulate children in their multilingual development. This approach not only promotes language development but also social and intellectual development. We collaborate with SFBO (Sintrum Frysktalige Berne-opfang) and use the 'comfort language' when needed - words from the child's native language in situations where the child needs to adjust or is feeling sad. Our toddler care is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 08:15 to 12:15. During these mornings, your toddler enjoys lunch with us. We are located next to OBS De Flecht, ensuring good connection with primary education in the region.
