POV Kindcentrum Wytgaard

Welcome to POV Kindcentrum Wytgaard, a small-scale daycare center in the heart of Friesland's Wytgaard. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland and work closely with Teake Jan Roorda primary school in the Integral Child Center (IKC) Roorda. Our location at Tjissema 6 accommodates up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since December 16, 2021. At POV Kindcentrum Wytgaard, we believe every child is unique and deserves a safe, familiar environment in which they can develop optimally. We operate from one shared vision with the school, providing a continuous development line starting from age 2. Our pedagogical staff create a warm, homely atmosphere where children learn and discover through play. We pay great attention to language development and offer pre-school education (VVE), preparing children for their school career. Our activities are tailored to each child's age and developmental stage. We craft with natural materials, cook and bake together, and take trips to the beautiful Frisian nature surrounding us. Outdoor play is central: our children enjoy the spacious green schoolyard where they can romp, discover, and play. We work with horizontal groups, where babies, toddlers, and preschoolers come together in age groups. This provides peace and structure for the young children. Parents are closely involved with us. We communicate through Social Schools, a secure parent portal where you can find photos, reports, and important information. Our parent committee regularly organizes creative and themed activities. We believe it's important that you as a parent feel involved in your child's development and therefore offer plenty of opportunities for consultation and input. At POV Kindcentrum Wytgaard, your child is central. We offer a second home where your child can grow, play, and learn with confidence in a safe, loving environment.
