Welcome to Peuteropvang In ’t Park, located in the heart of primary school In ’t Park at Reinoud van Gelderstraat 63 in Susteren. For many years we have been a trusted place for toddlers aged 2 to 4, working closely with the school and with MIK Spelenderwijs, the childcare organisation that manages us. Thanks to this unique partnership our toddler group and the kindergarten children of the reception class even share one classroom. This creates a natural transition and a familiar feeling when your child eventually moves on to primary school. We offer a safe, small-scale environment with a maximum of 16 children per day. Our horizontal group structure means children play and learn in age-based groups. The room is bright, clearly arranged and fitted with corners for language, numeracy, creative development and relaxation. We use themes that connect with the world as toddlers experience it and provide materials that invite exploration and play. Outside we have our own secure playground where children can enjoy fresh air and movement suited to their developmental level every day. Pre-school education (VVE) is not an extra at our centre; it is the foundation of our programme. We focus on language development, social skills and independence. Our pedagogical staff are trained in working with young children and are familiar with the objectives of the VVE programme. They observe, stimulate and offer additional support where needed. We also take allergies and dietary requirements into account; healthy snacks and drinks are included. Parents can choose half or full days, depending on what best fits the family rhythm. We value parental involvement: you are always welcome to drop in for a look, a chat or to join an activity. Together we ensure that your child feels at home with us and explores the world with pleasure and confidence.
