Welcome to Peuteropvang de Lotusbloem, located at De Savornin Lohmanstraat 2 in Wierden. We are a VVE (Pre- and Early Childhood Education) toddler care facility officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 147261971 since January 1, 2025. Our location accommodates up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. We operate according to a comprehensive pedagogical policy plan that meets all legal requirements. This plan specifically describes how we monitor and stimulate your child's development, with particular focus on language, mathematics, motor skills, and social-emotional development. As a VVE group, we serve children with a VVE indication alongside regular toddlers. Our toddler care is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM. For parents requiring extended care, we offer extended toddler care from 7:30 AM to 1:15 PM, with care starting from 7:00 AM available upon request. These flexible hours allow us to accommodate your personal schedule. The facility meets all legal requirements with adequate indoor and outdoor space per child. We have our own outdoor play area adjacent to the building, allowing your child to play safely in the fresh air. The spaces are safely designed and tailored to the age and developmental stage of toddlers. Our pedagogical staff create a positive atmosphere by ensuring inviting decoration and furnishing of the spaces. They make jokes, are helpful, and give full attention to each child. We work with fixed core groups and use a mentor system where one dedicated pedagogical staff member follows your child's development and discusses it with you periodically. Together with you as a parent, we strive for a careful transition from toddler care to primary education. With parental consent, we transfer relevant information about your child's development to the primary school during the transition.
