KDV Plein1 Op Stoom

KDV Plein1 Op Stoom is a cosy, small-scale day-care centre run by Op Stoom, located in the multifunctional Plein1 building at Julianaplein 1 in the heart of Heemstede. We care for 32 children aged 0 to 4 in vertical groups where babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play and learn together. The colourful rooms face south, so sunlight streams in all day. Quiet sleeping corners are ready for the little ones, while older children enjoy discovery, construction and doll corners. Our 200 m² natural garden is a true adventure land. Children balance on tree trunks, hide behind hills and cook ‘witches’ soup’ in the mud kitchen. Inside, we read aloud often, because language sparks imagination. We keep parents updated through the web portal and Konnect Parent App, so you always know what adventures your child has experienced. KDV Plein1 is open Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm.
