PIT Christian Child Centre De Rakkers is a daycare centre located at Dr. Plesmanstraat 22 in Zwijndrecht, part of the PIT Childcare & Education foundation. We provide care for babies, toddlers and preschoolers in a homely and secure environment. Our centre has 70 places divided into baby, toddler, preschool and preschool-plus groups. This horizontal grouping ensures every child receives attention suited to their developmental stage. Our enthusiastic and qualified pedagogical staff welcome your little one each morning with open arms. Together with you, they create a familiar daily routine centred on play, discovery and development. We offer a rich variety of activities tailored to the children’s age and interests, such as themes like ‘On a Journey’, where children playfully explore other countries and cultures. We also run the VVE+ programme ‘Klein Geluk’ to stimulate language and cognitive development in preschoolers at an early stage. Our centre has a spacious garden with play equipment and natural elements where children can go outside daily to climb, play in the sand and explore. We also regularly organise outings in the local area, such as visits to the playground or walks to the nearby Walburg shopping centre.
