PIT Christelijk integraal kindcentrum De Twijn

Welcome to PIT Christian Integrated Child Centre De Twijn, located at Parallelweg 2 in the heart of Alblasserdam. As a daycare centre, we are part of the PIT Childcare & Education Foundation, an organisation that connects childcare and education. Since March 1, 2021, we have been providing care for up to 62 children aged 0 to 4 years at this location. Our daycare is housed in the hyper-modern 'movement child centre' De Twijn, the first of its kind in the Netherlands. In this unique building, you can see children's right to development reflected in all the opportunities children have to play, learn and move. We believe that children develop optimally in a safe and secure environment, where parents and professionals work together as partners. We provide pre-school education (VE), focusing on children's language and speech development. Our pedagogical staff conduct development discussions with parents, so we can jointly determine what each child needs to develop optimally. We focus on developing talents through play and movement, giving children aged 0-4 the space to grow at their own pace. Our location has its own outdoor playground where children can romp and discover. We work with horizontal groups, where children come together in age groups. This provides peace and recognisability for the children. For the very youngest, we have separate sleeping areas and use care products that contribute to a comfortable day. At PIT Christian Integrated Child Centre De Twijn, the child is central. We offer a warm, Christian environment where every child is seen and valued. Our staff are professionally trained and work with great pleasure and dedication on your child's development.
