KDV Stiens De Twilling is located within the Integral Child Center (IKC) OBS De Twilling at Ieleane 8 in Stiens. As part of Kids First Childcare, we provide professional daycare for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years at this location. Our qualified pedagogical staff create a safe and stimulating environment where each child has the space to develop at their own pace. We follow the pedagogical policy of Kids First, ensuring children's emotional safety by creating a positive atmosphere where children dare to be themselves. Our approach focuses on stimulating personal and social competencies. We consciously provide activities and play materials that match each child's developmental stage and talents. Language development is a key priority; we use language throughout the day and also stimulate it through music, drama, and creative expression. For the youngest children, we provide bottle feeding, diapers, and care products. Toddlers receive a healthy lunch with bread and fruit. We work closely with parents and discuss daily how their child has experienced the day. When dropping off and picking up, we take ample time for communication. We believe good cooperation with parents is essential for their child's development. Our location uses a horizontal group structure, with babies and toddlers cared for in separate age groups. We offer both full and half-day care. As part of the IKC, we collaborate with the primary school, enabling a smooth transition to elementary education.
