KDV Pippeloentje

Welcome to Peuteropvang Pippeloentje, located at Grote Haven 2a in the centre of Haastrecht. We are part of gro-up kinderopvang and provide small-scale, professional childcare for toddlers aged 2 to 4. In a safe, cosy and stimulating environment children are given space to prepare playfully for the important step to primary school. At Pippeloentje we work with two regular pedagogical staff members per group. We use a horizontal group structure with one group of up to 16 children. Our location is open 40 school weeks a year from 08:30 to 12:30. Children with an indication for ‘extra play and learning’ receive a 960-hour Early Childhood Education (ECE) programme over 1.5 years from the age of 2.5. We offer development-oriented activities that connect with toddlers’ world of experience, such as toddler gym, creative activities and language stimulation. We follow the school holidays and use the gro-up parent portal, which allows parents to follow their child’s daybook securely. We value cooperation with parents: we start with an intake interview, organise an annual start meeting and offer observation moments in the group. Our location has its own outdoor area where children play and explore every day. We believe in a healthy and safe environment and take allergies and dietary requirements into account.
