Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Pino, a trusted and small-scale daycare centre in the heart of Dreumel. Since 1989 we have been providing loving day-care for children from 3 months up to school age from our characteristic building at Nieuwstraat 6. Our small scale – a maximum of 16 children per day – allows us to give every toddler and baby the personal attention they deserve. We work with one vertical group in which children of different ages play, learn and grow together. This set-up stimulates natural development: the very youngest watch the toddlers and pre-schoolers, while the older children take pride in their ‘big-kid role’. The permanent team of experienced pedagogical staff – some of whom have worked with us for decades – creates a homely atmosphere and continuity. For parents this means seeing familiar faces every day and children feeling safe and secure very quickly. A day at Pino starts with a warm welcome and a cuddle. We provide bottle feeding, fresh fruit and healthy snacks; nappies and care products are available. The children sleep in a separate, quiet room or – weather permitting – outside in the fresh air. Our enclosed garden is equipped with play equipment, a sandpit and a small vegetable patch, so children can move and explore safely outdoors every day. Activities vary according to age and interest: crafts, singing, reading aloud, dancing and games. We do not follow a strict schedule, but look at what the child needs. Each week centres on a different theme – think ‘animals in autumn’ or ‘colours of the rainbow’ – through which we playfully stimulate language, motor skills and social development. As we do not offer pre-school education (VE), the focus is entirely on play, relaxation and building self-confidence. Curious? You are very welcome for a no-obligation tour.
