Welcome to KDV Pinkeltjesland at Schonebergerweg 7 in Rotterdam! For 28 years we have been a trusted, warm place where children aged 0 to 4 can safely grow and develop. Our location has room for 44 children, divided into four horizontal groups that are precisely tailored to the age and developmental stage of your child. Each group has dedicated, professional childcare staff with at least an MBO diploma in Social Pedagogical Work (SPW-3 or 4) and a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). Together with two pedagogical coaches, they ensure that every child receives personal attention. Play-based learning is at the heart of our approach. Every day starts at 10:00 a.m. outdoors: our own playground and the adjacent city playground Binnenste Buiten invite exploration and movement. We also organize monthly themed activities and offer toddler gym classes twice a week. Excursions are part of the program too; we regularly go out to discover the world beyond our doors. Everything we do aligns with the latest insights from early childhood education (VVE), so your child is well prepared for primary school. Practically, we have you covered. You don’t need to bring diapers; they are included. We provide three daily meals plus a snack, all freshly prepared by our own kitchen staff. Cameras in every group and a secure entrance guarantee a safe environment. Through the Flex app you can see how your child is doing at any moment and stay in direct contact with our team.
