Pimmetje

Kinderdagverblijf Pimmetje is located at a central spot in Leiden: Rijnsburgerweg 140, just a stone’s throw from the Central Station and the Oegstgeest district. We are therefore easy to reach by bike, car and public transport. Everything we do is built on the idea of playing together, growing together and eating together. We work with five vertical groups. This means that children aged 0–4 share one group. The big advantage is calm and routine: your child stays in the same group with the same familiar faces for four years. Older children learn to help the younger ones, so they grow up together. Each group has a maximum of 12 children and is guided by two pedagogical staff members. We always ensure a good balance of babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. For our oldest children we have the 3+ Club. Twice a week they meet separately to play and learn. The activities are tailored exactly to what they will need at primary school. For children with a developmental head-start we offer the Peuterplus group from about 2 years of age. A specially trained staff member gives them extra challenge so they can develop optimally. At lunchtime all children enjoy a warm, healthy and age-appropriate meal. If you prefer a packed lunch, we will of course arrange that. Our pedagogical work plan describes exactly how we stimulate your child’s development.
