Welcome to Pien, located right in the heart of Koudekerke. You can’t miss us: we are based in a former church at Anthonissenstraat 25. Under one roof we house a day-care centre, a playgroup and after-school care, yet every child has its own familiar place within the large, bright space. At our day-care centre everything revolves around play, discovery and development. Children are split into two horizontal groups. Babies crawl and explore in the soft-play area and then take a peaceful nap in the separate sleep room. Toddlers climb and scramble in our own gym hall or romp around on the square outside. There is also plenty of room for quiet play in the construction or home corner. Our regular pedagogical staff sense exactly when your child needs a cuddle, a story or a new challenge. We provide pre-school education (VE), so your child can already practice skills that will come in handy at school. With primary schools ‘t Klinket and De Sprong just around the corner and a nature playground, skate park and village square within walking distance, there is always something to discover.
