KDV Peuterwerk Doerak

KDV Peuterwerk Doerak is a small-scale daycare centre located in the heart of Luttenberg, housed in the former kindergarten building of primary school Esmoreit at Wispelweg 15. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our team of dedicated pedagogical staff is ready every day to explore the world together with the children, both indoors and outdoors. Inside, there is plenty of space to play, craft, read and build. We work with themes that connect to the world of young children, using natural and stimulating materials. Outdoors, we make full use of the large green schoolyard, the nearby forest and amphitheatre. Natural play and discovery are central: from making mud kitchens to collecting branches and spotting animals. We use a horizontal group structure, where children are grouped by age. This provides calm and familiarity, and allows us to tailor activities to the developmental stage of each child. Flexible care options are available, including half-day sessions, and we work closely with parents to align care and upbringing as effectively as possible. KDV Peuterwerk Doerak is part of childcare organisation KOOS and operates according to their pedagogical vision: children are given space to be themselves, meet others and discover the world. We believe in learning through play, doing things independently and growing together.
