PeuterStart De Boomhut

PeuterStart De Boomhut is our daycare centre on the ground floor of primary school De Rank, right in the centre of Alphen aan den Rijn. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. The toddler group is organised horizontally, ensuring that all activities are perfectly tailored to the world of toddlers. Everything we do revolves around learning through play. We use pre-school education (VE) to stimulate language development and prepare children well for primary school. The spacious group room is divided into different corners: a doll corner, car corner, construction corner, a cosy seating area and a large, welcoming dining table where we eat and chat together. In addition, we can make use of the school’s creative spaces, such as the craft room and kitchen, for cooking and craft activities. Our pedagogical staff are VE-trained and offer activities in themes that match the age and interests of the children. We believe it is important that every child feels safe and secure, so that they can grow and flourish at their own pace. PeuterStart De Boomhut is open Monday to Thursday from 08:15 to 12:15. You can drop off your child between 08:15 and 08:30 and pick them up between 12:00 and 12:15. During school holidays and official public holidays the toddler care is closed.
