Welcome to Peuterspeelzaal Pinokkio, located at Theemsplein 22 in the heart of Haarlem. As part of Les Petits, we provide a warm and safe environment where toddlers aged 2 to 4 years can develop optimally. Our location is bright and spacious, giving children plenty of room to play, discover, and grow. We follow a structured daily rhythm that provides peace and structure. The day begins with a cozy circle time where we use daily rhythm cards to discuss what we'll be doing that day. This gives children stability and involves them in the program. Our pedagogical staff are professionally trained and guide the children with great care and attention. At Peuterspeelzaal Pinokkio, we work with the VE program Uk en Puk. This program focuses on four important developmental domains: language development, social-emotional development, motor and sensory development, and math stimuli. The puppet Puk is the children's play companion and makes learning fun. We offer daily creative and educational activities, both indoors and outdoors. Our garden provides ample opportunities for outdoor play and discovery. We regularly make excursions in the immediate vicinity of Haarlem. We enjoy visiting local playgrounds, the forest, or going on trips with the pushcart. These excursions contribute to children's development and familiarize them with their environment. For children who stay for lunch, we provide a warm meal from Moekes Maaltijd. These meals are 100% natural, without added sugars and color, fragrance, and flavor enhancers. Where possible, we use organic ingredients. In between, we drink water, fruit water, and tea. Our toddler playgroup has a maximum capacity of 16 children, allowing us to work on a small scale and give each child the attention they deserve. We work with age groups (horizontal groups) so activities are well aligned with the children's developmental stage.
