Peuterspeelzaal Kethel

Peuterspeelzaal Kethel is part of Integral Child Centre (IKC) Kethel located at Lindeijerstraat 14 in Schiedam. From the age of 2.5 years your child is warmly welcomed to our pre-school playgroup. We provide a safe, familiar place where toddlers can play, make friends and gently prepare for primary school. Our playgroup works closely with the school and after-school care under the Christian UN1EK profile. Nature and movement are central themes: the children tend a mobile school garden on the playground and learn to experience nature firsthand. We follow the Early Childhood Education (VVE) programme to stimulate language and speech development and give every child a flying start. We work in small, manageable groups with a maximum of 16 children. Our pedagogical staff are trained to carefully monitor and support each child’s development. Parents experience an open, welcoming atmosphere; we regard parents as partners in upbringing and keep you actively involved in your child’s experiences.
