Ikkedoen Kinderopvang Holtenbroek

Peuterspeelzaal Ikkedoen De Regenboog is located at Bachlaan 8 in Zwolle and is part of the small-scale Ikkedoen childcare organization. We offer horizontal groups, meaning children of the same age play and learn together. Our location is officially registered as a daycare center and has room for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. We focus on the development of the young child. We work with themes that connect to the world of experience of toddlers. For example, we have worked with the theme 'I am an artist', where the children could create their own artworks in a real studio. Together we discover colors, shapes and materials and stimulate creative development in a playful way. Our spaces are attractively furnished with challenging toys and various corners where children can build, craft, read or engage in role-play. We find outdoor play very important. Our garden offers plenty of space to run, play in the sandbox or cycle. When the weather permits, we are active outside every day. We work according to the principles of Early and Preschool Education (VE), using the development triangle of Pyramid. This means that we closely monitor and stimulate the development of each child in the areas of language, arithmetic and social-emotional development. Our experienced pedagogical staff observe, discuss progress with parents and adapt activities to the needs of each child. During the drop-in, parents have the opportunity every day to play along for a while or ask questions to our staff. We find a warm and familiar bond with parents and children very important. Many parents choose us because of our small scale, familiar faces and homely atmosphere. For 9 years now, children have been growing up with us and parents consciously choose Ikkedoen De Regenboog.
