Peuterspeelzaal de Ark

Peuterspeelzaal De Ark is located at C.J. Conijnstraat 23 in the heart of Volendam and is part of the Stichting Club en Buurthuiswerk Edam-Volendam. We provide a safe, warm place where toddlers aged 2 to 4 can play, discover and grow. Our team of qualified toddler teachers guides a maximum of 16 children per group, ensuring every child receives the attention they deserve. Play is central to everything we do. Through play, children learn to take each other into account, discover their own interests and practise important skills such as sharing and dealing with rules. We sing, do crafts, read aloud and offer plenty of room for free play. The spacious garden invites outdoor play, cycling and climbing; nature thus becomes a natural part of the day. Language receives extra attention. In a playful way we expand vocabulary and practise sentences, so that every child can enter primary school with confidence. For children with an early childhood education indication, there is the option of attending four sessions a week, providing an even stronger preparation for primary education. Parents are more than welcome. We believe it is important that you can take a look and talk about your child's development.
