Peuterschool De Woudstappertjes

Peuterschool De Woudstappertjes is a daycare centre located at Dr. Nuijensstraat 76 in Westwoud. We are part of Kappio childcare and offer care for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4. Our goal is to prepare children for primary school through play-based learning. Our rooms are designed with inviting play areas tailored to toddlers’ interests. We use themed activities and the Startblokken programme to support language, numeracy and social development. Each day begins with a group circle time: we drink, eat fruit, sing and listen to each other’s stories. Arts and crafts are a daily highlight. Outdoor play is a key part of our routine. When weather allows, we end the morning outside in our green garden, where children can run, explore and play. We collaborate closely with De Westwijzer primary school to ensure a smooth transition. Children with an early-education indication may attend four days a week. Parents and toddlers are welcome to visit and see how their child feels in our warm, safe environment.
