Peuterschool De Vuurtoren

Peuterschool De Vuurtoren is located on the grounds of Christelijke Basisschool De Vuurtoren at Stevinstraat 65E in Scheveningen. We provide preschool care for children aged 2.5 to 4 years in a small-scale setting with a maximum of 16 children per group. Guided by two dedicated pedagogical staff members, we work thematically: each theme—such as traffic, spring or ‘welcome’—guides play, singing, crafts and language. Through play, children learn to play together, share, listen, tell stories and sing. We cooperate closely with the primary school and follow the same play-and-learn programme, ensuring a smooth transition later on. Our SCOH coach and the school’s internal supervisor carefully monitor each child’s development. Peuterschool De Vuurtoren is a day-care facility operated by SCOH and registered in the National Childcare Register under number 193456229.
