Peuterschool De Horizon

Peuterschool De Horizon is part of the Foundation for Protestant Christian Playgroups and is located within De Horizon primary school in the Laak district of The Hague. Our preschool offers childcare for children from 2.5 to 4 years old in a safe and familiar environment. We operate from a Christian identity where every child is seen and heard. At our preschool, toddlers learn through play, discovery and doing things themselves. We provide a rich play and learning environment where children can play to their heart's content and make friends. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with great attention and care, using the Pyramid method. This method stimulates language development and creates a continuous line from preschool to primary school. The preschool group rooms are adjacent to an enclosed outdoor space where children can play and explore safely. We offer both morning and afternoon care, with parents having the flexibility to choose half or full days. During care, children receive healthy snacks and drinks, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements. Our preschool works intensively with De Horizon primary school, ensuring a smooth transition to primary education. We believe it is important that every child feels safe and comfortable, so they come to preschool with pleasure and can develop optimally.
