Peuteropvang Windekind

Peuterspeelkamer Windekind has been located in primary school Tiliander at Lange Nieuwstraat 189 in Tilburg since May 2008. We provide anthroposophical-inspired toddler care for children aged 2 to 4. Our goal is to let children become who they are, guided by the recurring rhythm of the day, the seasons and the annual festivals. This gives the child recognition and trust. Throughout the day we follow a fixed rhythm of singing, playing, eating and resting. Each season has its own songs, games, celebrations and activities. Within the daily rhythm we balance group activities with the individual needs of the child. Natural materials stimulate creativity: building with branches, drawing in sand and crafting with mud. We love going outside, as outdoor play stimulates the child's brain. Our location is open every weekday from 07:30 to 18:30. We work with a horizontal group structure: one toddler group for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4. Half-day care is possible and we accommodate special dietary needs. Fruit and drinks are included.
