Peuteropvang De Wonderlamp

Peuteropvang De Wonderlamp is an anthroposophical toddler daycare located in the Prinsenland district of Rotterdam. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our unique character is expressed through our calm, natural play spaces where we exclusively use natural materials. The seasonal table changes with the rhythm of the year and the group features various corners including a home corner, construction corner and reading corner. Our anthroposophical life philosophy means that every child is allowed to be who he or she is. We celebrate the annual festivals of St. John's, St. Martin's, Sinterklaas and Christmas with songs and table plays. Children play outdoors daily in our own enclosed playground within the natural Pietje Bell playground, where we utilize elements of sand, grass, trees and water. We work exclusively with organic food and organize our mealtimes with attention and care. Our pedagogical staff regularly consult with teachers from the Rudolf Steiner School to ensure a continuous line for children transitioning from daycare to school. Parents are warmly welcome to join workshops, courses and lectures on anthroposophy organized at the school.
