Peuteropvang Van Harte

Peutergroep Van Harte is a daycare centre that is part of Kind & Co Ludens and is located in the Integral Child Centre Van Harte at Loerikseweg 11a in Houten. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our toddler group is cosily and challengingly arranged with various play corners such as a construction corner, movement corner and a home corner. There are low tables where children can clay, craft, puzzle and play games. We start the morning with drinking water and eating fruit at the table. We work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&co ludens, based on four pillars: feeling good and having fun, growing and discovering, a rich environment and being together. We offer an inspiring and challenging environment where playing equals discovering and learning. Our activities are tailored to the children's world of experience and are mostly offered using the Uk & Puk method. The doll Puk experiences recognisable things such as being ill, the weather and eating and drinking. In this way, we stimulate language development, social-communication skills, motor skills and pay attention to preparatory arithmetic. This makes the transition to primary school easier. We spend a lot of time outdoors in our spacious playground where children can climb, clamber and cycle to their heart's content. Every year, we take a walk in the woods or visit the petting zoo. We end the school year with a summer party, sometimes at our own location and sometimes at playground 'De Bergjes' in Houten. Peutergroep Van Harte is a location with pre-school education (VE). Children with a VE indication receive extra attention for the Dutch language: speaking, listening and learning new words. We create mixed groups with toddlers with and without a VE indication.
