't Krielhoekje

Welcome to 't Krielhoekje, our toddler group located on the grounds of It Bûtenplak in Hoornsterzwaag. We provide professional childcare for children from 2 years old in a safe and familiar environment. Our unique outdoor location gives children space to play, discover and grow. Our toddler group is open during school weeks from Monday to Thursday from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM. We work with a maximum of 16 children per day in a horizontal group structure, where all children are in the same age category. This provides peace and overview, and makes it possible to perfectly tailor activities to the developmental stage of toddlers. We believe in the power of outdoor play and nature experience. Our location has its own vegetable garden where children learn about vegetables and flowers, and we have chickens that the children help care for. This direct interaction with animals and plants not only stimulates motor development, but also develops a sense of responsibility and respect for nature. Our activity program is developed according to the pillars of our organization: learning through play, movement, music and healthy nutrition. We sing songs, make music with simple instruments, craft with natural materials and move a lot outside. Nature is our biggest toy - from mud kitchens to building huts, from searching for insects to picking flowers. We provide recognized preschool education (VE), using development-oriented themes that connect with toddlers' world of experience. Each activity is carefully chosen to support your child's development in language, motor skills, social skills and independence. For the inner person, we provide healthy snacks and plenty to drink. We take allergies and diets into account. Parents regularly receive information about their child's development and the activities we undertake. At 't Krielhoekje we make every day special. In our small-scale setting, your child receives the personal attention they deserve, while learning and discovering through play in a rich, natural environment.
