Peuteropvang De Jazzsingel is located at De Jazzsingel primary school at Jazzsingel 900 in Utrecht. We are part of Kind & Co Ludens, a social childcare organization with over 40 years of experience providing professional childcare in Utrecht and the surrounding area. Our toddler care is specifically designed for children aged 2 to 4 years and offers a safe and stimulating environment where toddlers can play and learn. Everything we do revolves around learning through play. We use themes that connect with young children's world of experience, such as 'animals', 'the seasons', 'traffic', or 'my body'. Within these themes, we sing songs, read stories, do crafts, play games, and regularly go outside. Our outdoor space offers plenty of opportunities to run, climb, build sandcastles, and explore nature. This way, children develop not only their language skills but also their social-emotional and motor skills. Peuteropvang De Jazzsingel is a location with preschool education (VE). This means we pay extra attention to Dutch language development. We help children with a VE indication to expand their vocabulary and improve their listening and speaking skills. We do this in a playful way, for example through language games, reading aloud, and singing. Especially at a young age, children learn a language quickly and easily, allowing them to start primary school well-prepared. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in the development of young children. They provide structure and warmth so that every child feels safe and secure. We work in small groups with peers, ensuring plenty of individual attention for each child. Together with parents, we form a team: we keep you informed about your child's development and are happy to discuss how we can jointly contribute to a positive upbringing.
