Peutergroep de Berkenboom is a small-scale toddler care facility operated by Kinderopvang Dribbel, located at Berkenlaan 29 in the heart of Hoogland. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. The facility is part of De Berkenschool primary school, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition to elementary education. Our toddler group is open from 08:15 to 12:00 during school weeks, excluding holidays, study days and public holidays. We follow a consistent daily rhythm that offers structure and calm. The morning begins with a group circle time featuring songs, stories and themed discussions. This is followed by free play or theme-based activities. We use the Uk & Puk method to support language development, social skills and school readiness through play. Outdoor play is an essential part of our day. Children enjoy the school's large green playground, where they can run, climb, and explore sand and water. During inclement weather, we provide indoor movement activities using materials like mats, a crawling tunnel, and music and movement corners. Our team consists of qualified childcare professionals trained in early childhood education (VVE). With consistent caregivers, strong bonds develop between child, parent and staff. Personal attention, safety and warmth are our priorities. Every child is seen and valued. Parents stay connected through our parent app, where you can view photos, request extra days and report holidays. Open communication is key, with daily exchanges at drop-off and pick-up.
