Peutercombi voorschool Zijderoute

Peutercombi voorschool De Zijderoute is located at Hertspiegelweg 55 in Amsterdam West and is part of Combiwel Voor Kinderen. We provide pre-school care for children aged 2 to 4 in a small, manageable group of up to 15 toddlers. Our location is open every weekday from 8:30 AM to 1:50 PM, 52 weeks a year, including school holidays. We focus on making play and learning enjoyable. Our pedagogical staff create a safe, homely atmosphere where toddlers can explore, experiment and play together. We use thematic activities that connect with young children's world of experience and prepare them playfully for primary school. Language development is a key priority: we encourage vocabulary and communication through reading aloud, singing and having conversations during play. The group is horizontally structured, meaning children are grouped by age. This allows us to respond specifically to the developmental stage of the toddlers. We do not provide full-day care, but offer a clearly defined pre-school period that aligns perfectly with primary school hours.
