Peutercentrum Madelief

Peutercentrum Madelief is a pre-school facility run by Laurentius Kinderopvang, located at de Goudwinde 1 in Bergschenhoek. We provide professional Early Childhood Education (VVE) for toddlers aged 2 to 4 in a safe, homely setting. Each session welcomes a maximum of 16 children, guided by two qualified, permanent pedagogical staff members, often assisted by a volunteer or intern. This guarantees calm, structure and familiarity. Play is at the heart of our programme. Children choose their own activities: clay work, puzzles, being read to, building with cars and trains or playing in the doll corner. During this free play we observe and stimulate development in language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional areas. We use the KIJK! child-tracking system and record progress in the child file that is forwarded to primary school. Our bright group room has large windows and overlooks the enclosed playground behind the school. There, children can enjoy outdoor play in the sandpit, on the slide or with bikes. Every day we serve a healthy organic fruit snack and drinks, taking allergies and dietary needs into account. The daily rhythm is clear: the stay-and-play period starts at 8:30, allowing parents to come inside for a moment. This is followed by a fixed alternation of play, songs, books and outdoor play until pick-up at 12:30. We value parental involvement. Short daily contact moments are available at drop-off and pick-up, and we schedule parent meetings twice a year. Extra consultations can always be arranged. Peutercentrum Madelief is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 12:30 during school weeks and is registered with the National Childcare Register under number 277276974.
