Peutercentrum De Wimpel

Welcome to Peuteropvang De Wimpel, part of Zoople Velsen. Since January 1, 2025, we are located in primary school De Franciscus at Franciscuspad 15 in IJmuiden. Our small-scale location provides care for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. We work with the preschool education program Startblokken, specifically designed for extra language stimulation and proper preparation for primary school. Additionally, we use the parent involvement program VVE thuis and regularly organize meetings for parents. Our pedagogical staff create a warm and relaxed atmosphere where toddlers feel safe, develop self-confidence, and can be curious about their environment. Peuteropvang De Wimpel is housed in primary school De Franciscus, but registration at our toddler care does not automatically mean registration for the primary school. For placement at the primary school, you need to register your child separately.
