Peuterburg

Peuterburg is our daycare center located at Luit Katlaan 9 in the heart of Valkenburg. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years at this location. As part of Stichting KOK kinderopvang, we adhere to the same professional standards that apply across all 20+ locations of our organization in Katwijk, Rijnsburg, Valkenburg and Noordwijk. Our pedagogical climate is designed to make every child feel emotionally safe and secure. We interact with children in a sensitive and responsive manner, show respect for their autonomy, and provide structure and boundaries. Through play, we challenge children in their motor, cognitive, language and creative development. We guide them in their interactions with others and encourage them to become familiar with generally accepted values and norms. Peuterburg offers preschool education (VE), where we stimulate the development of young children in the areas of language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development. We carefully monitor each child's development and adjust our program accordingly. Parents are actively involved in stimulating their child's development. Our pedagogical policy staff member ensures the quality and content of the preschool education program. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since January 22, 2015 under number 845482270. We are supervised by GGD Hollands Midden and operate on behalf of the municipality of Katwijk.
