Peuterarrangement Meander

Peuterarrangement Meander is part of Kindcentrum Meander, located in the Maaspoort district of ’s-Hertogenbosch. Together with primary school Meander we form one integrated child centre where children aged 2½ to 4 years are playfully prepared for primary school. We provide professional toddler care from Monday to Thursday, 08:30–12:30, welcoming up to 16 children each morning. Our vision is that children make the day. We let ourselves be inspired by them and think along with their ideas. Every morning two open activities are offered, tailored to the world of experience of toddlers. We regularly go on excursions in the nearby nature reserve and also bring nature inside; we keep a terrarium and create crafts with materials found outdoors. This not only stimulates creative development but also curiosity about the world around us. Language, social interaction and physical activity are central to our programme. Through thematic play children learn to listen, cooperate and discover. Our pedagogical staff guide every step of their development and ensure a smooth transition to primary school. We work from the 5 streams of KC Meander and use the motto “Grow with the Flow”, aligning education and care as closely as possible. In short, at Peuterarrangement Meander toddlers are given every opportunity to grow in a familiar, safe environment where the joy of learning is paramount.
