KDV Oudehaske

At SKIK’s daycare centre in Oudehaske we offer a warm and safe place for children aged 0 to 4. Located in the Kulturhûs, our cheerful daycare has two groups. KDV Oudehaske features bright group rooms, a green outdoor playground, three sleeping rooms and various play corners. We also use the gym for joint activities. Growing here is fun! SKIK stands for attention, growth and pleasure. We believe children grow best when they feel comfortable, safe and seen. Therefore we provide a recognisable daily rhythm, inspiring activities and professional guidance tailored to each child’s development. Our location is bilingual; we work in both Dutch and Frisian, guided and certified by the Sintrum Frysktalige Berne-opfang (SFBO). We are more than childcare: we are your pedagogical partner. Our committed pedagogical staff think along with you, share their knowledge and offer genuine attention. By working closely with schools and other partners we align well with education and with what parents find important. At our centre children learn not only from our professionals, but especially from each other. By playing, moving and sharing experiences together, they prepare for the future in a familiar environment.
