KDV Ooievaar

Kinderdagverblijf Ooievaar is a small-scale daycare centre run by Stichting KOOS, located inside the OBS de Vogelaar school building at Gieteling 36 in Raalte. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in two groups: the Frog Group for babies from 0 to 2.2 years and the Tawny Owl Group for children from 2.2 to 4 years. Each group is staffed by three permanent pedagogical professionals who ensure a safe and familiar environment. We use the Uk & Puk VE programme, which helps babies, toddlers and preschoolers develop language skills through play. Themes are aligned with the children’s world of experience. Puk the puppet accompanies the older children on discovery trips in the neighbourhood: we visit the goats and deer around the corner, do some shopping at the supermarket and play in the local playgrounds. Outside, we have an exciting discovery garden with different materials where children can explore on their own. We go outside every day, regardless of the weather. Peuterwerk de Vlegeltjes is also located in the same building, allowing for smooth collaboration and transitions. Kinderdagverblijf Ooievaar is for parents looking for a warm, safe place where their child can develop at their own pace. We offer care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7.15 am to 6.00 pm.
