Olleke Bolleke

Welcome to Olleke Bolleke, our VVE playgroup located in community centre “de Tweeling” at De Ruyterlaan 19 in the Tweelingstad district of Harderwijk. We offer a familiar, cosy and safe place to play and learn for toddlers aged 2 to 4. Our spacious, bright hall has clearly defined play corners and an enclosed, beautiful and large outdoor area where children can explore and play to their heart’s content. We follow the VVE programme Uk & Puk. Every six weeks we start a new theme that is close to the toddler’s world of experience. When you enter you will see on our theme shelf which theme we are working on. We actively involve parents: you can indicate on a note whether you would like to bring something for the theme and you will receive a word list via a newsletter so that you can practise the same words at home. We sing songs, read books and adapt the corners and storytelling table so that all words are covered in a playful way. Our experienced, qualified teachers are ready to give your toddler a warm welcome. We believe that trust and safety are very important; only then can a child develop optimally. When dropping off and picking up there is always time for a chat. You may play along for a while or do a puzzle before we wave together and start free play. In between we go to the toilet, wipe noses, dry tears and cuddle where necessary. We make creative crafts related to the theme or something fun for mum or dad’s birthday. Birthdays are celebrated in style: the birthday chair, a colourful cake with Puk on it, birthday songs, the magic wand and a healthy treat or a present. The birthday boy or girl may grab a surprise and will later receive photos. We are proud of our many years of experience with toddlers from all cultures and bring out the very best in every child.
