Okidoki Spinel 2

Welcome to Okidoki Spinel 2, a small and cozy daycare centre located in the heart of ’s-Gravenzande. We provide childcare within Het KADO, a collaboration between CBS De Kameleon, OBS De Driekleur Dalton and Okidoki Kinderopvang. Our location is centrally situated between several primary schools and features a beautiful, enclosed outdoor area directly adjacent to the group rooms. At Okidoki Spinel 2 we work with two horizontal core groups: the Owls (0-2 years) and the Foxes (2-4 years). Each group has its own space fully tailored to the age and development of the children. The baby group is equipped with quiet sleeping areas, a playpen and soft play corners. The toddler group uses themed corners such as a home corner, construction corner and reading corner, with small playgroups to create calm and overview. Our outdoor space consists of two playgrounds: a small yard specially designed for the youngest children, and a large yard with a discovery garden, nature huts and play equipment. We offer daily outdoor activities and for the baby group there is even the option to sleep outside in a safe outdoor cot – always with parental consent. Due to our small scale, we know every child and parent personally. Our permanent pedagogical staff are ready every day with a smile, a listening ear and a familiar face. We communicate daily through the Konnect parent app, so parents stay informed of all the beautiful moments and developments.
