KDV Oculus

Welcome to KDV Oculus, located at Sint Willebrordplein 6 in the charming Loven-Besterd district, right in the centre of Tilburg. For more than 25 years – originally under the name Anak-Anak – we have opened our doors every morning to children from 0 to 4 years old. We are proud to be part of Kindercampus Oculus, where daycare, preschool, primary school and after-school care work closely together. For your child this means one familiar place where they can explore the world from baby to toddler. Everything we do revolves around your child’s natural curiosity. We provide a safe, green environment – indoors and outdoors – where play, movement and discovery are central. Our large, natural garden is an adventure in itself: there is space to run, cycle, climb and play with sand and water. For the very youngest we have a separate baby discovery garden; a quiet, enclosed corner where babies can safely play and even nap outdoors in our outdoor cribs, sheltered from sun and wind. We follow a certified Early Childhood Education programme and track each child’s development with the KIJK observation method. Our pedagogical staff tailor activities to what your child needs – never forced, always at their own pace. In every theme block the children enjoy alternating music, dance or yoga sessions. We use organic and whole-grain products as much as possible for a healthy lunch, fruit snack and wholesome treat. Diapers, meals and drinks are included in the care. KDV Oculus is one of the oldest and most experienced day-care centres in Tilburg. We offer small-scale, personal attention in a homely atmosphere. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Feel free to drop by for a tour and experience for yourself why parents rate us an average of 8.8.
