Welcome to KDV Norlandia childcare, MFA Het Spoor in Tilburg. We are located in the multifunctional centre Het Spoor at Schaepmanstraat 42, where we share the building with primary school De Stappen and other organisations to create a lively meeting place. Our day-care unit has room for 48 children aged 0 to 4, divided into a baby, toddler and pre-school group, so every child receives care and stimulation that matches his or her stage of development. Our close-knit, stable team ensures that parents and children always see a familiar face. Each child is also assigned a personal mentor: a fixed pedagogical staff member who follows your child’s well-being and development throughout the year and keeps you informed. For the very youngest we only employ staff who have completed baby training; a baby specialist is always present in the baby group. All colleagues receive ongoing training and guidance from a pedagogical coach so that our care and knowledge remain up to date. We believe children develop best by exploring for themselves. Therefore we give them plenty of room to make their own choices, from discovering our beautiful nature garden to spreading their own sandwich. We prefer to play outside, where children can run, romp and truly experience the seasons. For children from 2 years old we offer pre-school education (VE). Our VE-certified staff provide, in consultation with parents, extra support in language, social-emotional development, early numeracy and motor skills, ensuring a flying start to primary school.
