Welcome to Norlandia Childcare, location De Spinner in Heeze. Our day-care centre is part of the De Nieuwe Hoeven child centre and offers a home-like environment for children aged 0 to 4. We organise four horizontal groups: the baby group ‘the Caterpillars’ (0-1.5 yrs), and the toddler groups ‘the Chameleons’ (1.5-3 yrs), ‘the Beetles’ (2-4 yrs) and ‘the Grasshoppers’ (2-4 yrs). Each group has its own stable team of caring professionals who know exactly what your child needs. Being outdoors is second nature to us. Children race around our spacious garden, create art with leaves and sand, and return with dirty hands and sparkling eyes. Inspired by our Norwegian roots, we give children every opportunity to choose, explore and learn by themselves. Our baby specialists carry the youngest in slings, understand every cry and even communicate with signs, ensuring secure attachment from day one. Toddlers from 2.5 years can join our pre-school education (VE) programme based on the Pyramid method. Our VE-certified staff prepare children for primary school through play, focusing on language, speech and social-emotional development. Every child also has a personal mentor who closely follows development and holds an annual in-depth parent meeting. Healthy food is included: bread meals, fruit and drinks, with attention to allergies. Sustainability matters to us—our babies already learn to separate waste.
