Nijntje

Welcome to daycare Nijntje, located in IKC Merweplein at Merwe Donk 2 in Gorinchem. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Gorinchem (SKG) and provide care for up to 71 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location has been officially registered since August 5, 2010 in the National Childcare Register (LRK number 146767032). At Nijntje, we work with themes that connect to the world of young children. Each week we offer activities that stimulate children in the areas of language, discovery, fantasy and role play, counting and measuring, movement and dance, singing and music, and creativity. We believe that every child has unique talents and we encourage children to discover and develop these in a way that suits them. Our spacious play hall is the heart of the daycare. Here children can play in a large hall with a play castle, a generous reading corner, a children's kitchen and low tables for crafts and play. The indoor space is playfully designed to inspire and stimulate children throughout the daily routine. We find it important that children feel safe and secure, so they have the space to grow and develop. Our outdoor space is a true paradise for children. There is a garden with various play equipment, a sandbox and bikes to play with. Even babies can safely crawl and play on the grass outside. We pay a lot of attention to outdoor play, as we believe that movement and play in the fresh air is important for children's development. We work closely with the primary school, toddler care Pippeloentje and after-school care BSO Merweplein, which are also located in the same building. This collaboration ensures a smooth transition between the different forms of care and education and provides children with a familiar environment in which they can develop optimally. At SKG it's all about fun, curiosity and adventure. We offer a safe and stimulating environment in which children can grow. We look forward to welcoming your child!
