Welcome to Montessori childcare Sonsbeek, located in a charming manor house at Amsterdamseweg 100 in the heart of Arnhem. We provide small-scale daycare for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm, homely environment. Inside our historic building we have specially designed groups for babies/toddlers and preschoolers, so your child spends the day in a setting that perfectly matches his or her developmental stage. This “prepared environment”, as Maria Montessori called it, encourages independence and natural curiosity. Our large, green garden is a true playground: children can run, climb and scramble to their heart’s content while getting to know our vegetable patch and caring for our rabbits. Even the youngest ones enjoy napping outdoors in the fresh air when the weather is nice. Located close to the train station and Sonsbeek Park, our site is easy to reach. Our dedicated, well-qualified Montessori guides follow the principle “Help me to do it myself”. They carefully observe each child, provide suitable materials and offer tailored guidance so that your child can discover and learn at his or her own pace. We are open every weekday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and offer both 52-week and 48-week contracts. In short: a wonderful place to grow up!
