KDV Moeder de Gans

Welcome to KDV Moeder de Gans, located in child centre Sunte Werfert at Kostverloren 14 in Elst. We are part of childcare organisation De Kikkerkoning and have been providing small-scale, homely care for children from 2 months to school age since 2017. Our location has 44 childcare places divided across a baby group (0-2 years), a vertical group (0-4 years) and two toddler groups (2-4 years). One of the toddler groups offers pre-school education (VE) for children with an indication four mornings per week. We believe every child is unique and deserves the space to discover their talents. Our pedagogical staff create a warm, safe environment where children feel at home and can play, discover and grow from a place of trust. We are known for our family atmosphere; parents experience us as a second home where love and connection are central. Outdoor play and nature experience are important pillars in our approach. We regularly use the play areas around the child centre and take trips to the playground and the village. The spacious garden offers plenty of opportunities for discovery and adventure. For the very youngest, we have separate sleeping areas and provide customised bottle feeding. We offer flexible childcare options, including half-day care. As part of De Kikkerkoning, we work together with the primary school and playgroup in the same building. This collaboration offers children a familiar environment in which they can seamlessly transition from childcare to school. We speak Dutch and our staff are ready to work with parents to bring out the best in every child.
