Maria Start

Welcome to Maria Start, our daycare centre at Horstakker 48 in the heart of Erp. We are part of the Verdi Onderwijs foundation and provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4. Registered in the National Childcare Register since 15 March 2012, we offer parents complete peace of mind. Our site shares its outdoor space with Basisschool Maria, giving the children access to a safe, spacious playground. We work with horizontal groups: babies and toddlers are cared for separately from the preschool group, ensuring every age receives the attention and care it needs. Thanks to our small-scale setting we know every parent and child personally, making daily handovers warm and familiar. Maria Start offers early-years education (VE). Our pedagogical staff tailor activities to each child’s developmental stage, focusing on language development, motor skills and social interaction. We work closely with Basisschool Maria, ensuring a smooth transition to primary school.
