Welcome to Lucy's Kinderdagsalon at Klaas Katerstraat 2 in the heart of Zaandam. We are a small-scale daycare where your child comes in with a smile and goes home with a smile. Our homely atmosphere and dedicated childcare professionals ensure that every day is filled with fun and educational activities. We provide safe, familiar and loving care for children from 8 weeks to 4 years old. Our location features both horizontal baby and toddler groups (0-2 years and 2-4 years) and vertical groups (0-4 years), so we always have a suitable place that matches your child's development. The spacious indoor and outdoor areas give children all the room they need to move freely and develop optimally. Our day always starts together with singing songs, talking about the theme or just having a nice chat. Every five weeks we start a new theme where we stimulate creative skills by experimenting with different materials. We actively involve both children and parents in our activities. Think of crafts with themes such as sticking a sheep with cotton balls or making a bunny from a footprint, but also outings to the library or petting zoo. Outdoor play is just as important as indoor play for us. We have our own vegetable garden and chickens that the children can take care of themselves. This way they learn about nature and healthy food in a playful way. We pay a lot of attention to conscious movement and healthy eating. Our fixed table moments are a celebration: in the morning we serve fresh fruit, then a bread meal or hot meal, after the rest moment a vegetable snack with cracker and yogurt, and at the end of the day another small, healthy snack. Every month we try the spread of the month! Every child is unique and develops at their own pace. That's why we tailor all our activities to your child's age and development. We use a parent portal where we keep track of how the day is going, so you're always informed. From the first settling-in day you can already follow along with photos and reports. At Lucy's Kinderdagsalon, we work with love on the upbringing and guidance of your son or daughter in the most important developmental phase of his or her life. We provide a familiar environment where your child can grow with confidence and be who he or she wants to be.
