Liedekeijn

Day-care centre Liedekeijn is located at Schipborgerweg 2 in Westlaren and is part of SKID child-care foundation. Our beautiful building offers spacious group rooms and a central hall that provides a safe and stimulating environment for up to 86 children aged 0 to 4 years. We work with horizontal groups that match your child’s developmental stage: the baby group Bambi and the toddler groups Winnie the Pooh, Nijntje, Kikker, Woezel and Rupsen. Each group has dedicated pedagogical staff who recognise the children, are recognisable themselves and offer a familiar base. Thanks to the close proximity of after-school care Drakensteijn in the same building, the transition from day-care to after-school care later on is seamless. Our site features a unique Nature Garden: the first hands-on discovery garden of SKID child care, created by De Natuurtuin from Haren. Here children can playfully explore nature, seasons and sustainability. We provide pre-school education (VE) so your child learns through play and is optimally prepared for primary school. Additionally, we run a playgroup on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at Liedekeijn, where toddlers learn to cooperate, discover and develop through play.
