Les Petits Pr. Beatrix (Pinkeltje)

Welcome to Toddler Care Pinkeltje! Our location is situated at Beatrix School in a quiet neighborhood of Heemstede. We have a spacious outdoor playground where we spend lots of time playing outside. We love singing, reading to the toddlers, and engaging in many creative activities. We also occasionally make excursions into the green surroundings. Our toddler care consists of one group with 16 children aged 2-4 years. Two pedagogical staff members work daily. We collaborate closely with the kindergarten groups of Beatrix School. The transition from toddler care to education therefore proceeds playfully. For targeted parenting support and coaching of our staff, we have our own pedagogues in-house. Every day we make it a celebration at toddler care Pinkeltje! We start in the circle with a circle discussion, singing songs or reading a book. Then we take the children through the rest of the morning using daily routine cards. We use Uk and Puk for this. Uk and Puk is a program focused on Preschool Education (VE). Pinkeltje is not an official VE location, but we do activities from the VE program. These activities focus on language development, social-emotional development, motor and sensory development, and math stimuli. Our toddler care is excellent preparation for primary school!
