KDV Leeuwesteyn is located within Kindcentrum Leeuwesteyn at Zilveren Florijnlaan 99, Utrecht. We provide daycare for children aged 0–4 in a caring, secure setting. Our centre comprises two baby groups (0–2 years), two vertical groups (0–4 years) and one toddler group (2–4 years). Each group is guided by dedicated, professional pedagogical staff who work from a positive, child-centred approach. We respect every child’s individual rhythm, especially our babies. Toddlers and preschoolers enjoy themed activities based on the recognised Uk & Puk programme: story time, singing, arts & crafts, exploring our natural outdoor playground and conversations that foster language development. Whenever possible we align themes with the primary school next door so children become familiar with the school environment at an early stage. Our spacious green outdoor area, surrounded by trees and equipped with natural materials, invites crawling, climbing, sand play and discovery. Indoors you will find age-appropriate play corners and quiet sleeping rooms. We offer a seamless route from daycare to primary school: children enrolled with us receive priority when applying to primary school Leeuwesteyn (no guarantee). Parents stay connected through a secure parent app featuring photos, news and invoices. We also host parent evenings, individual meetings and work closely with an active parent committee.
